A suspenseful plot that keeps you biting your nails tills the very last chapter. Along with the help of Fairy people, Artemis must fulfil his end of the deal, having a mind wipe of all fairy memories, along with his friendships and conscience.

Review

This book has been even more exciting than the last! Artemis Fowl and the Eternity code had gotten me biting my fingernails, gaping laughing and frowning all in one chapter. I feel this book really contributes to the series as this is where Artemis goes through some of his biggest and most important stages or character development, making good lasting friendships with the fairy people and losing his cold and hurtful attitude he had when he first wanted to kidnap Captain Holly short in the first book.

Eoin Colfer has done a wonderful job, creating so many new types of fairy gadgets and next-generation technology which even scientist must not have thought of! The plot in the third book in the series is like the head starts for the new and dangerous adventure these friends are going to go on in the future.

“I am that male. Artemis the hunter. I hunted you.”

-Artemis Fowl

Artemis likes to make his mark, even though he has become more open and friendlier, he still has that criminal spark inside him which allows him to crack these ingenious master plans and witty remarks.  He never likes to one-upped by anyone, he will, slowly but surely get his revenge if it is the last thing he does. He, after all, is the only boy to know about Haven, talks in fluent Gnowmish and has obtained fairy gold.

Artemis Fowl is a unique character who is both hostile, genius and sly as well as caring, funny( in his own way) and a true friend. However, after all this character development Artemis must keep his end of the deal, in return for the fairies help, Artemis agrees to a memory wipe…
